Brett Carlson
Brett Carlson offers lawyer-assisted and lawyer-unassisted mediation and arbitration services, focusing on all areas of family law, including support, parenting, and property.
Brett has over 150 hours of specialized training in mediation, dispute resolution and family violence, in addition to his years of legal practice exclusively in family law. Further, he is currently an LLM Candidate at Osgood Hall at York University in Dispute
Resolution.
Through his practice as a family lawyer, Brett has seen first-hand the negative effects that litigation can have on families. It is because of this that he now focuses his work on helping families navigate through challenging times in ways that limit harm to the family to the greatest extent possible. He provides a compassionate and professional approach to conflict resolution.
Brett believes in empowering families to make informed decisions that prioritize the well-being of all involved, especially children. Through open communication, active listening, and a focus on finding common ground, he helps clients explore creative solutions tailored to their unique needs and circumstances. No two families are the same. As such, no two resolutions are the same.
